Most of the beach is exposed to the sun with little shade, so it’s a fantastic spot for swimming, snorkeling, or surfing.
From Casa Nyüngo Diriá, there are many activities to enjoy – such as hiking at Rio Celeste, visiting the Sloth Sanctuary and in the same day enjoy at Llanos de Cortes Waterfall. If you feel more adventurous, we invite you to visit Hacienda Guachipelin and fly like an eagle in the Volcano Zipline, enjoy horseback riding, or even river tubing.
Casa Nyüngo Diriá is located in the best area for exploring Guanacaste and the surrounding areas. For example, you can do a day tour to the Monteverde Cloud Forest or even go to Arenal Volcano Rainforest to enjoy a short walk and relax at the hot springs.
But, if you are looking for closer destinations to travel to, we recommend visiting the Miravalles Crater or taking a walk high in the hanging bridges at Tenorio volcano.
We also recommend the Palo Verde National Park, where you can cruise on a jungle boat to watch a wide variety of wild birds and mammals like monkeys and the impressive crocodile.
On the same night, you can go to watch the night turtle nesting and, in the morning, enjoy an ATV Tour through mountains, rivers, and beaches.
